Our MA/LVN’s are passionate about providing quality patient care to Chapa-De patients within our health centers and plays a key role in the planning and implementation of the health care delivery system.
MA/LVN Activities Include
Working within a team to create a positive patient experience
Performing back office duties such as:
Laboratory and testing procedures
Facilitates sending specimens to outside laboratory
Screening tests and recording results
Notifying patients of test results
Coordination of care and making appointments
Assisting with areas related to billing and compliance
Proactively assists with providers as requested
Greets patients, maintains health records, telephone duties and other administrative tasks
Contributing as a positive role model for others on the team, a proactive patient advocate, and a contributor to the safe and effective delivery of care in a culturally sensitive manner
Qualifications Medical Assistant:
Medical Assistant with certificate of completion from an accredited Medical Assisting Program.
Current BLS Certified CPR certificate.
** Must have received or be willing to receive the COVID - 19 vaccine before date of hire to be considered for employment.
