Administrative Nursing Supervisor: Full time and Registry Positions

Position Overview:

The nursing supervisor maintains the operational aspects of the patient care areas during her/his assigned shift. S/he coordinates referrals and community resources. Assists in the admission, transfer and discharge of patients including setting up room and placing patients on cardiac monitor.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • ASN; BSN Preferred

  • Registered Nurse (R.N.) with valid license

  • Five years of progressive clinical experience to include acute care cardiac telemetry, critical care/emergency nursing, case management, charge nurse/house supervision, or transfer center experience

  • BLS, ACLS Preferred

  • Progressive track record of management responsibilities

    Knowledge/Skills:

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, leadership, teamwork and collaboration

  • Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to think quickly and multitask effectively

  • Ability to complete job duties autonomously

  • Proficient with using computer and software applications

  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
