University of Minnesota Physicians is seeking a Certified Nurse Practitioner or a Certified Physician Assistant to join our Urology practice in Edina & Maple Grove MN. Join our premiere urology practice providing comprehensive care for a wide range of urologic conditions in patients young and old.
In This Role, You Will:
Practice in beautiful suburban locations at our Edina and Maple Grove clinics. Some care will be delivered virtually.
Join our multi-professional team of over 20 surgeons and 7 advanced practice providers. Our advanced practice providers are deeply respected and encouraged to work at the top of their license. They have an autonomous practice with attentive physician support when needed.
Provide the full continuum of urologic care in an outpatient setting including both virtual and in-person visits, as well as evaluate new consults, provide ongoing care of chronic conditions, and facilitating both pre-operative and postoperative care.
This provider will also work closely with our female pelvic condition experts and become a subspecialist along with those physicians.
Join a department that has been at the forefront of urologic patient care, education, and teaching for more than eight decades. Building on our past, we continue to lead innovative efforts in several areas of urology, including cancer, stones, infertility, and pediatric care.
FTE 1.0, Full Time (No nights, holidays, or weekends!)
Days Hours M-F 7-5:30. Schedule rotates within these hours.
We’re Looking for a PA or NP Who Is:
A graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or formal Adult Nurse Practitioner training program.
Eligible or is certified through NCCPA, ANCC or AANP.
Licensed or eligible to obtain a l icense and prescriptive authority through the MN Board of Medical Practice (PAs) or MN APRN license or eligible to obtain a license and prescriptive authority through MN Board of Nursing (NP’s).
Able to meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.
