Reports to: Nurse Manager

The primary purpose of the Medical Assistant position is to provide patient care and customer service assistance to the ambulatory care patient, as delegated, and support daily operations of the center.

  1. Assists Staff:

  2. Responsibilities include completion of routine patient care assignments as delegated

  3. Accurately record vital signs and other data, report abnormalities to nursing staff.

  4. Assists Patients:

a. Aids in completion of activities of daily living, mobilization, greeting, rooming, and vital signs.

  3. Stock and maintain unit and patient care supplies and equipment.

Required: High School diploma or equivalent


Required: Completion of certified medical assistant training.


Required: Two or more years of related experience
