Overview Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's largest and mostcomprehensive provider of cancer care has an exciting opportunity for anexperienced Registered Nurse in our Lonetree clinic at Skyridge. Come jointhis busy oncology practice and work with a dynamic team that is passionateabout providing stellar care to our patients. Responsibilities Administerschemotherapy, hydration [radiopharmaceuticals] and other medicationsunder the direction and supervision of a physician.. Administers allmedications/blood products using correct medication/blood product,dosage/amount, route, time and technique. Displays appropriate technicalskills for the administration of chemotherapy, medications and bloodproducts, to include, but not limited to: venipuncture, central lineaccess and infusion devices. Programs portable infusion pumps for continuousdrug delivery and provides instruction to the patient and/or caregiver inthe use of the pump at home. Documents nursing assessments, patient teachingand fluid and medication administration in the patient chart. Communicates allpertinent information and any interventions to the physician. Qualifications Graduatefrom an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSNpreferred. Minimum three years nursing experience required, oncologyexperience preferred.
