UCLA Health Research Nurse Manager-OBGYN in Los Angeles, California

Responsibilities

Successful candidate will serve as an expert clinical

practitioner for the Department of OBGYN Cancer Program, providing research

support, clinical trial management and clinical care, leadership, consultation,

education and patient care management, and patient care expertise. Provide

guidance, direction and assistance to the health care team in maintaining

optimum quality of research support, clinical trials support and nursing care

for patients. Create a survivorship program within the cancer program. Support clinical care and research for Vice

Chair OBGYN in Beverly Hills clinic. Assume

the role of leader, clinician, researcher, educator, patient care advocate,

consultant, inter- and intradepartmental liaison and resource professional.

Identify safety concerns and institute measures to provide a safe environment

and provide appropriate assessment, intervention and evaluation of patients. Where appropriate direct, supervise and guide

research nursing staff and health care team in the provision of patient care

consistent with Nursing Standards of Care/Practice. Complete other projects, as

assigned.

Qualifications

Current valid CA RN license, required

BSN or MSN, required

BLS from the ARC or AHA, required

5-7 years of Gynecologic Oncology experience, highly desired

Previous management/supervisory experience, preferred

Ability to travel, as necessary

Ability to work flexible hours and possible weekends
