Our Graduate Nurse (GN) Residency Program will immerse you in evidence-based practice, training, and education as you transition from student to professional nurse during the first year of your RN career.

    The Process:

  • We want to start the conversation early! If you are within 6 months of graduation, please apply now to talk to one of our recruiters

  • You will have the opportunity to interview directly with unit managers based on your interests and position availability

  • Start dates are flexible, depending on timing of graduation and how quickly you can obtain licensure

  • We provide comprehensive unit orientation that is customized to the individual. Average timelines are anywhere from 12 to 16 weeks

    Requirements Prior to Start of Residency:

  • Must possess an associate or bachelor's degree from a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE

  • Must be licensed in the State of Oregon as a Registered Nurse as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing.

  • Some positions may require you to obtain your Idaho RN License within the first 6 months of employment.

  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire in all units, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.

  • Other certifications may be required as identified in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.
