We have an exciting opportunity for a per diem (0% FTE, variable hours per week), day shift REGISTERED NURSE to join our Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Clinic, located at UW Medical Center - Montlake. Our Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Clinic provides consultation and evaluation for allergic rhinitis, asthma, stinging insect hypersensitivity, food allergies, medication desensitization, immunotherapy (allergy shots) and immunodeficiency diseases. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic clinic that provides a variety of services to our patients. SCHEDULE: The Registered Nurse will work variable hours per week at a Monday-Friday clinic. This position has no weekend or holiday responsibilities. RESPONSIBILITIES: As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for patient assessments and treatments, including allergy shots, injections, and epinephrine during allergic reactions. The Registered Nurse will follow evidence-based nursing practices and collaborate with the patient, family and other healthcare providers to optimize the patient’s return to health and promote independent self-care. REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2 years of current or recent medical-surgical or ambulatory nursing experience


  • An active Registered Nurse license in the State of Washington


  • Previous experience with allergy patients UW Medicine includes Harborview Medical Center, UW Medical Center - Montlake, UW Medical Center - Northwest, Valley Medical Center, UW Neighborhood Clinics, UW Physicians, UW School of Medicine, and Airlift Northwest.
