Aspirus Health CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT in Wausau, Wisconsin

We are seeking a CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT in Wausau, Wisconsin for the Post-Surgical Care Unit at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. The CNA will be responsible for providing direct patient care. This includes provision of hygiene, passing water, changing linens, feeding patients when required, checking of vital signs, weight, and height checks, etc. This position will also assist in patient admission process, answer call lights and monitor patients.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of an approved nursing assistant program and current inclusion in the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry

  • Current CPR Certification, or obtained within 90 days of hire

  • Previous experience working with a variety of age groups preferred.

    Hours: Supplemental, varied shifts, weekend & holiday rotation. 32 hours per pay period.

The hospital has an average daily inpatient census of 160 with approximately 15,000 admissions per year. Outpatient visits exceed 50,000 and there are also more than 24,000 annual emergency department visits.
