Virginia Mason Memorial Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC) in Yakima, Washington
Shift Differentials: Employees working evening duty (3:00 p.m. to 11 :30 p.m. shift) shall receive an additional one dollar and fifty-five cents ($1.55) per hour over their regular rate of pay, and employees working night duty (11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. shift) shall receive an additional two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) per hour over their regular rate of pay. Employees with scheduled shifts overlapping the aforementioned regular shift times shall be paid the appropriate shift differential for the hours worked.
All staff members at Yakima Valley Memorial must be in compliance with the Vaccination Policy, which includes the COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) vaccine, by their first day of employment.
ROLE SUMMARY The NAC will provide individualized patient care integrating age related, cultural, and religious/spiritual needs. The care delivered reflects the philosophy, goals, and objectives of the hospital and nursing services. The NAC is accountable for own practice.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Graduate of an accredited NAC program required. Experience: Previous healthcare experience preferred. Licenses/Certificates/Registration: Washington State (DOH) Nursing Assistant Certification required. American Heart Associate BLS required.
